Calacatta vs Statuario: Which Marble-Look Is Right for Your Project?

designinspiration

At first glance, Calacatta and Statuario appear to occupy the same territory: white marble-look sintered stone with dramatic veining. But the two collections serve fundamentally different design intentions.

Calacatta is defined by its bold, sweeping veins — gold, warm grey, or deep brown traversing a bright white field. It is a material that commands attention, appropriate for feature walls, kitchen islands, and reception desks.

Statuario is quieter. The white base reads cooler, the veining finer and more directional. It supports a room rather than leads it — better suited to bathrooms, flooring, and large-format installations.

The practical rule: specify Calacatta when the surface is the focal point. Specify Statuario when the surface is the canvas.
